About the Miramar map

Miramar is PUBG's 8 × 8 km desert – dusty hills, canyons, cactus fields and towns built from pale concrete and brick. In the south, bridges at Valle del Mar and Los Higos lead to the southern island with the Prison and Minas del Sur.

Everything is the same sandy colour, which is exactly what makes Miramar hard in PUBGEOS: you have a few seconds to spot the one detail that tells one town from another.

Key areas of Miramar

  • Los Leones – the biggest city, in the south-east, with a dense grid of streets and tall buildings.
  • Pecado – the town in the centre of the map.
  • El Pozo and San Martín – two larger towns in the west and centre.
  • Hacienda del Patrón – the walled estate south-west of Cruz del Valle.
  • Campo Militar and Torre Ahumada – the military compound and the town in the north.
  • Valle del Mar, Los Higos and Puerto Paraíso – the coast and the bridges in the south.
  • Prison and Minas del Sur – the southern island.
  • Crater Fields, Water Treatment, Junkyard and Oasis – smaller landmarks that stand out once you know them.

How to recognise places on Miramar

  1. Look for green. Most of Miramar is sand and rock – farm fields, round crop circles, palms or water narrow the spot down quickly.
  2. Read the size of the town. A grid of tall buildings means Los Leones, a walled compound points to Hacienda del Patrón or Campo Militar.
  3. Check the sea. Water in the shot means the south or the east coast, a bridge means Valle del Mar or Los Higos.
  4. Use the terrain. Deep canyons and steep cliffs run along the western edge, the centre is rolling hills.
  5. Be quick. Points drop with distance and with time, so a fast guess in the right town beats a slow one.
