About the Vikendi map

Vikendi is PUBG's 8 × 8 km winter island. The north and the middle are covered in snow, frozen lakes and rocky hills, while the south coast turns green with fields, vineyards and forest. A railway runs across the island past the Train Station.

Snow makes everything look alike at first glance, so in PUBGEOS you have to read the buildings, the landmarks and the amount of snow in a few seconds to know where you are.

Key areas of Vikendi

• Castle – the castle on a frozen lake, south-east of the centre.
• Deka Mesto – the biggest town, in the south of the map.
• Cosmodrome – the space centre on the north-east coast.
• Dinoland – the dinosaur theme park in the west.
• Coal Mine and Observatory – the mine and the hilltop observatory in the north.
• Laveni, Villa and Trika – the east side of the island.
• Naznova, Pavilka, Winery and Kranik – the greener south-west and south coast.
• Naros, Lumber Yard and Train Station – the centre and the railway.

How to recognise places on Vikendi

1. Check how much snow there is. Deep snow means the north or the middle, green grass and fields mean the south and south-west coast.
2. Look for the big landmarks. The castle walls, the rocket at the Cosmodrome, the dinosaurs at Dinoland or the observatory dome give the place away instantly.
3. Follow the railway. Tracks or a station in the shot put you on the line across the centre of the island.
4. Watch the water. A frozen lake points inland, open sea points to the coast.
5. Be quick. Points drop with distance and with time, so a fast guess in the right town beats a slow one.
